Azerbaijan provides assistance to flood-hit Romanian region

By instruction of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani embassy to Romania rendered assistance to the residents of Sudjeava region, suffering from flood, said a source in the Azerbaijani embassy to Romania.
It should be noted that 4 people died and 1000 lost their homes in the result of the flood.

As is reported, the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Romania Eldar Hasanov, staff of the embassy, representatives of the group of Romania-Azerbaijan friendship, representative office of Heydar Aliyev's foundation in Romania, members of Romania-Azerbaijan Commercial and Industrial chambers visited the region.

The Azerbaijani delegation handed necessary products and medicines, as well as essential objects to the residents.

E.Hasanov met with region prefect, city mayor and deputies, elected from this region.

During the meeting, the ambassador noted that they visited the region under direct instruction of President Ilham Aliyev and voiced anxiety over the consequences of the recent flood in the said region.
