Uzeir Jafarov: "The number of Azerbaijani soldiers, who died within the first half of this year, has topped 60 people"

"As we have been informed, the number of Azerbaijani army soldiers, who died within the first half of this year, has topped 60 people.

If we speak of the total number of dead and wounded militaries, as well as those injured in accidents, the figure tops 150 people in this case", said famous military expert Uzeir Jafarov.

He said three soldiers had drowned through the past week.

"There are certain doubts about the case with soldier of Azerbaijani frontier service Islam Mustafayev, who was said to drown. Soldier's parents state that he was an excellent swimmer and could not have drowned. They consider that Mustfayev was killed.

As for the suicide of Zamig Samandar oghlu Safarov in one of the military units of frontier service of Azerbaijan in Bilesuvar region, it confirms the tendency of rise in the number of deaths among soldiers, serving in the frontier service of Azerbaijan and internal troops, while previously there were more cases of death among soldiers of Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry", concluded Jafarov.
