Kidney transplantation surgery conducted in Azerbaijan for the first time in the region

According to Day.Az, the surgery was held in the Lenkoran regional diagnostic center. The surgery involved Iranian and Azerbaijani specialists, who arrived in Lenkoran for the purpose.

The patient was resident of Mahmudavar village of Masalli region Azizov Anar Safarali oghlu, born in 1986. According to his relatives, Anar suffered from renal insufficiency, revealed 3 months ago.

He was brought to Russia and Pakistan, but no donor was found for me. Later, Anar Azizov's friend decided to donor, presenting him his kidney.
