Council for Press asks Azerbaijani President to pardon journalists

Day.Az reports with reference to ANS TV accprding to head of the council Aflatun Amashev, the issue of the appeal was raised at the 5th session of the country's journalists.

He said the session delegates empowered the council to execute it in the near future. The appeal notes that release of Ganimat Zahid, Mirza Sakit and Eynulla Fatullayev will not only help their return to the families and to work but also have a positive influence on the international image of the country.
