35 year old Baku resident Matanat Huseynova demands court investigation and punishment of surgeon Rafik Damirdjalov for disfiguring her face and causing harm to health.
According to Novosti-Azerbaijan, this occurred after Huseynova underwent surgery on her nose for heavy breathing due to deformed nasal septum.

The plastic surgery was held in several phases from February 3 of 2006 and until June 5 of 2006. In the result, the patient lost a part of her nose tip and her helix, from where a cartilage material was taken for nose plastics, was misshapen. Alongside with damage to appearance, she can breath only by help of tubules inserted in her nose and hear badly.

Paying about $1400 for the unsuccessful surgery, she was obliged to appeal to Moscow surgeons, who refused to help her.

Then Huseynova left for German Stuttgart where Maria hospital doctors agreed to cure her for EUR 150,000.

Huseynova and her defender Rasul Ahmedov filed a claim to the Khatai district court. Judge Saadat Selimova accepted the petition of the respondents about the plaintiff's medical court expertise, though there was a conclusion of German surgeons in the case.  The court investigation has been suspended in expectation of the resolution of medical court experts.

Plaintiffs demand from Shikhlinskaya hospital and surgeon Damirdjalov to pay Huseynova's expenses for recovery of her appearance and hearing. According to the patient, German doctors will get the bone material from her rib to recover hearing. If she gets money, needed for continuation of treatment, she will undergo surgery four times.
