Azerbaijani serviceman commits suicide - UPDATED

Military serviceman of Azerbaijani Army Osmanov Ramil Shakir, who was hospitalized with a bullet wound in Barda on May 29 died, Interior Troops’ Press Service told APA.

The soldier committed suicide. Interior Troops and Military Prosecutor’s Office have launched a criminal case.

Osmanov was hospitalized with a bullet wound in Barda at 17.00 on May 29. Osmanov, 19 years old, was drafted from Barda Military Registration and Enlistment office.

Ramil Osmanov, serviceman of N military unit of armed forces in Barda was brought to the Central hospital of Barda with a bullet wound in the lower part of left breast on Thursday.

The soldier underwent surgery. No information has been provided on his state.

Notably, R.Osmanov (born in 1989) was recruited by military enlistment office of Qazakh. In line with preliminary version, he attempted suicide. The information is being checked. No information has been received from the press service for the interior troops of Azerbaijan.
