Azerbaijan reaches final of Eurovision 2008 song contest

According to Day.Az, Azerbaijani representatives Elnur and Samir managed to get to the final, which will be held on May 24.

It should be reminded that 19 participants, representing Montenegro, Israel, Estonia, Moldova, San-Marino, Belgium, Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Norway, Poland, Ireland, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, the Netherlands, Finland, Romania, Russia and Greece performed their songs in the first semifinal.

10 finalists were declared following the voting of the spectators.

The following countries will take part in the May 24 final:

Greece,
Romania,
Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Finland,
Israel,
Azerbaijan,
Armenia,
Poland,
Norway.
