Cleaning of a hectare of land in Bibieybat oil field for construction of Olympic park to take up to EUR 5,000,000

Day.Az reports that the main problem, discussed at the meeting, is a cleaning of an oil field in Bibieybat, where the construction of the Olympic park is planned in case of the successful promotion of Baku's application for conduction of the 2016 Olympic Games.

At today's press conference one of the international experts, participating in the hearings, Paul Baader answered the question, regarding financial component of this project.

"The issue is quite complicated as most depends on the pollution level and terms of works", says the visitor from Germany. "They can be carried out quickly but this will be too expensive and vise versa. Basing on my own experience, I can say that the cleaning of a hectare of land in Bibieybat will take from EUR 1,000,000 to 5,000,000.
