Mazahir Panakhov: "We should not blame journalists, we should reckon with them"

The due announcement was made by Mazahir Panakhov, chairman of the Central Electoral Commission, at today's session on "Elections in mass media".

He said the year of 2008 is a very significant year.

"We should not blame reporters, we should reckon with them, as it is their responsibility to fulfill their professional duty during the presidential elections", said Panakhov.

Panakhov noted touching upon trainings for members of the Central Electoral Commission that international structures have approved their steps in this direction.
