Two Iranians shot dead by Azerbaijani frontier guards - UPDATED

Citizens of Bilesuvar region of Azerbaijan Khanlar Mehidov and previously convicted Zakir Guliyev and Abutalib Muradov, being in a drunken state, tried to trespass Iranian border, making a plot with the Iranian citizens, at 03:00 a.m. yesterday.

The due announcement was made by the press service for the Azerbaijan's Interior Ministry.

As is reported, they fired at the officials of the State Frontier Service of Azerbaijan and the response fire killed two Iranians.

Z.Guliyev, Kh.Mejidov and Muradov, who escaped from the spot, have been detained.
