An international conference of UNESCO to discuss propaganda of literacy in Europe will be held in Gulistan palace in Baku on May 14-16.

The due announcement was made by Azerbaijan's Minister of Education Misir Mardanov, Day.Az reports.
"The event to be held under the auspices of the first lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva, will be attended by about 200 guests, including the first ladies of a number of countries and other senior officials", Mardanov noted.
It was noted that the international conference will discuss issues connected with elimination of illiteracy. Reports will be made on the said topic.
