Azerbaijan's former Health Minister Ali Insanov goes on hunger strike

Human rights activists Saida Gojamanly and Saadat Benenyarli visited Eynulla Fatullayev, former editor-in-chief of Gundelik Azerbaijan and Realny Azerbaijan, kept in correctional ward No 12, S.Gojamanly told APA.

She noted that the health of the reporter, starving for 8 day, is normal. Fatullayev is under medical control: "He lose weight but there are not serious problems with health. Complications may appear on the 10th day of starving. Therefore, we decided to visit him on Friday",

Moreover, the human rights activists met with former Health Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Insanov, kept in correctional facility No 13.

The former minister expressed intention to start hunger strike from April 3 in support of reporters. Insanov promised to appeal to the jail administration regarding the said issue.
