President of Azerbaijan signs decree of pardon in connection with Novruz holiday - Full list - UPDATED

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to pardon prisoners serving their term in country's jails.

The due announcement was made by a source from public relations department of the Penitentiary Service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Justice.

Thus, the decree of pardon was signed due to the Novruz Holiday.

It should be noted that on December 28 of 2007 President Ilham Aliyev pardoned 119 prisoners including 6 reporters.
