90% of marriages not registered officially in Azerbaijan's south

The due announcement was made by Rahilya Mamedova, chairman of the said association, at the press conference on "Forced marriages of underage girls and victims of trafficking".

She said the reason is bestowing of underage girls.

"The facts that girls at the age of 17-18 years old married 45 year old men", Mamedli noted.

She said the rise in the number of divorces, and husbands' leaving for Russia strongly influence prostitution.

"After returning from Russia, men infect their wives with HIV", Mamedli noted.
