Monitor magazine editor-in-chief Elmar Guseynov to be commemorated in Azerbaijan

The due announcement was made by a source from the Committee for Protection of Freedom of Speech, Novosti-Azerbaijan reports.

In connection of the third anniversary of Elmar Guseynov's death a number of public organizations of the country, including Elmar Guseynov's Fond, Committee for Protection of Freedom of Speech, representatives of other nongovernmental organizations, leaders and reporters of number of mass media urge to take part in the commemorative event at reporter's grave.

The event will be held on March 2 at 04:00 p.m.

It should be reminded that the editor-in-chief of the opposition Monitor magazine Elmar Guseynov was killed on March 2 of 2002. His killers have not been found yet.
