Chingiz Askerov: "Azerbaijan will appeal to the Grand chamber on several decisions of the European Court of Human Rights"

"68 communications on claims regarding our country has been made since 2002 that is from the moment of Azerbaijan's transfer under jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights".

The due information was provided by Chingiz Askerov, plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan in the European Court of Human Rights.

He announced that about 30 decisions had been adopted regarding our country and 30-35 claims are still considered.

11 decisions adopted on Azerbaijan have been publicized.

Askerov noted that Azerbaijan does not agree on some decisions of the court: "These decisions are especially important regarding the interests of the country. We are preparing to appeal to the Grand chamber of the European Court of Human Rights on some resolutions, we can not accept".

He also announced that the biggest contribution to be paid to Azerbaijan is EUR 10,000.
