Spokesman for Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense: "Eight servicemen of Azerbaijani armed forces were hospitalized with chilblain"

The due announcement was made by Eldar Sabiroglu, spokesman for the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan during a press conference, Day.Az reports.

He noted that five soldiers are in the Central Military Hospital of Baku and another three were placed in the military hospital in Ganja.

He noted that the treatment of four out of five servicemen in the Central Hospital is nearing its end and they will return to army service in the near future.

"The state of another soldier is regarded as moderately severe, some of his toes are frostbitten. Doctors make everything possible and they will soon adopt a decision on the need to carry out a surgery", Sabiroglu said.

Of those staying in the Ganja hospital two have already signed out and they currently continue serving and the third one will soon return to service.
