Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis to be marked in US

The Embassy of Azerbaijan to the United States will hold an event on the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis at Holiday Inn, one of the central hotels of Washington, on December 28, as reported by sources from the Azerbaijani Embassy.

The event will be attended by numerous representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora residing throughout the United States.

A concert with participation of famous musicians, including singer Novruz Mamedov, kamancha player Imamyar Gasanov as well as a jazz player, saxophonist Zulfugar Bagirov to perform Azerbaijani music in modern interpretation, will take place during the event.

A mind quiz on Azerbaijani history, culture and art will also be held and its winners will receive memorable prizes.

The event is supported by the US-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce.
