Polish masters to assist in restoration of Azerbaijan's historical monuments

"Polish masters have a great experience in the restoration of historical monuments. Moreover, Baku accounts for a number of historical buildings, which were constructed by Polish projects and with participation of Polish architects in the late 19th-early 20th centuries. I think this cooperation will be profitable both for Polish and Azerbaijani masters", the diplomat noted.

According to Krayevski, following the discussions between the Ministries, the sides came to an agreement, according to which the Polish masters will undertake restoration of one of historical monuments, locating in the Baku city suburbs.

The due works on the reconstruction of the said monuments will be initiated in early 2008, after preliminary operations.
