Maleyka Abbaszade: "Separate exams for technical schools could be cancelled"

Separate exams for the technical schools are not to be held this year, Maleyka Abbaszade, Chairman of State Students Admission Committee told.

According to her, the entrants are recommended to participate in the exams for higher schools.

The applicants with lower scores will be able to enter technical schools according to the results of the exams, APA reports.

"One can think that he can not attend the exams for higher schools as there are separate exams for technical schools. The practice of three years shows that there is no need for separate exams. The last year entrance exams gave the 90 percent and the next to last 70 percent of students of technical schools and this indicator increases year by year. It is also taken into consideration that the vacancies for technical schools can be filled in the exams for higher schools. In this case the separate exams for technical schools will be cancelled."

According to Maleyka Abbaszade, applicants should indicate that they apply for technical schools in their documents. Such entrants will be placed in the technical schools according to the scores.
