Amnesty Act releases about 500 prisoners

Amnesty Act approved by Azerbaijani parliament on May 8 discharged about 500 prisoners.

Justice Ministry press service told APA this figure was recorded yesterday evening. The Amnesty Act introduced from May 10. It is to release about 1,500 prisoners within three months. The Act covers 9,000 prisoners totally.
