Journalists to hold protest action

A group of journalists will hold rally in protest against pressures on press.

Chief editor of Gundalik Azerbaijan newspaper Shahvalad Chobanoghlu told APA the action is to be held in Sabir Garden.

Chobanoghlu said the meeting to be held tomorrow will call for the release of Eynulla Fatullayev, the founder and chief editor of the newspapers Gundalik Azerbaijan and Realni Azerbaijan and other imprisoned journalists, punishment of Elmar Huseynov's assaulters, annulment of court rulings fining newspapers.
