Azerbaijan squad advance 20 stages in FIFA ranking list

FIFA has released new ranking list of national squads.

Azerbaijan squad has moved 20 stages forward compared to March list. The team takes 103rd place with 203 points. Among team's rivals in 2008 European championship qualifying round, Portugal is 7th, Poland 20th, Serbia 32nd, Finland 45th, Belgium 59th, Kazakhstan 116th and Armenia 127th. After the defeat in Baku, Finland fell 12 stages. Argentine handed the leadership to Italy. Fivefold world champ Brazil is ranked 3rd. APA-Sport
