Rowing base to be opened in May

New rowing base will be opened in Baku in May this year.

Rowing Federation vice-president Shahin Meherremov told APA-Sport that the construction work is about to be finished.

"Sportsmen will have all necessary conditions to train in kayak and canoe and rest. They will also use academic boats in the sea when it is quiet," he said.

Other rowing base is being constructed in Mingechevir at the expenditure of Youth and Sports Ministry. The base will be opened next year.
