Azerbaijan's Catholics to have new church

Catholic church is to be opened in Azerbaijan on April 29.

Vatican nuncio on Azerbaijan and Georgia Claudio Gugerotti told journalists the official opening ceremony will take place later with Vatican cardinal's participation.

Vatican nuncio also said the date of the cardinal's visit is not known as Vatican officials are too busy.

Stressing official Baku's tolerance very high Claudio Gugerotti said 250-300 Catholics live in Azerbaijan. APA
