03 April 2007 [21:01] - TODAY.AZ
Azerbaijan introduced credit system in eight higher schools with 2500 students.

Education Minister Misir Mardanov told journalists the Ministry does not hurry to implement credit system entirely. "We have tried it for the first time so we are studying this system," he said

Misir Mardanov added religion is not to be taught as a separate subject at secondary schools.

"Religion is studied within other subjects now. Though religion is not included as an independent subject to the national curriculum of general secondary education, this issue will be paid serious attention," the minister stressed. APA
