Mayor of Houston officially declares 21 March the Day of Azerbaijanis

Mayor Bill White of Houston has officially declared March 21 the Day of Azerbaijanis at request of Houston Azeri Society.

The mayor sent a letter to the Azeri society, saying the move comes because of celebration of this date as Novruz by Azeris and Azeri Society's contribution to the friendship between the two nations.

Exhibitions, concerts were held in Houston and the people were informed about Azerbaijan. APA
