Police chief: "No description has been seen on the metro station pavement"

A man, deceiving people by claiming that a description of Prophet Muhammad (s) appeared on the pavement of of Neftchilar metro station in Baku, has been interrogated by Nizami police department.

The person released after the interrogation, chief of police station #24 Karam Rzayev told the APA. Rzayev noted that detainee Sitajeddin Akif Huseynov, living in 32, Gara Garayev street, Nizami district, Baku, was taken to police department because of the photo in his mobile phone.

Huseynov was interrogated and was released being warned, as there was no criminal composition.

"No description has been seen in that territory, actually the people believed rumors and gathered there," he said.

Rzayev said that police department of metro is responsible for security in that territory. The deputy chief of the police division Mais Ahmadov said that metro police do not carry out any investigation there and at present there is no crowd in the territory.

Caucasus Muslims Office told the APA that the information about the description of Prophet Muhammad (s) on the pavement of the metro is groundless and the office will not comment on the issue.
