Misir Mardanov receives World Bank officials

Commenting on the World Bank's conception on today's situation of Azerbaijani education, the minister expressed his remarks on the document. He stressed it is necessary to work out the document again.

Rosita Van Meel agreed with the minister and stressed that the shortcomings will be eliminated.

The minister considered it important to continue the works on the management of the education, and stressed that necessary measures are being taken for development of education. The program worked out on this purpose is about to be approved.

Rosita Van Meel noted that they intend to hold training in the frame of reforming education. The first seminar is expected to be held in June.

The sides also exchanged views on the issues to be discussed at the seminar on comprehensive secondary education, experts to be invited and other issues, Education Ministry press service told the APA.
