Polish FM visits Baku Slavic University

Poland's Foreign Minister Anna Fotyga today visited Baku Slavic University.

Ambassador of Poland to Azerbaijan Kshishtof Krayevski, Azerbaijani ambassador to Poland Vilayet Guliyev and other officials participated in the meeting.

Welcoming the guest the rector of Baku Slavic University Kamal Abdullayev gave information about the university. He said that 70 students are studying Polish-study and mentioned that Poland's universities and Baku Slavic University signed contract on cooperation on students' exchange.

Anna Fotyga said that these measures play an important role in bringing the positions of the two countries closer. "The relations between Azerbaijan and Poland are developing. I visited Polish architect Pototski's monument. Erecting monument to a Polish architect proves friendship relations between Azerbaijan and Poland," she said.

The guests later visited Polish Teaching and Training Center in Baku Slavic University.

The students gave the Foreign Minister information about this center in Polish andperformed songs from famous Polish movies, APA reports.
