Commander of military unit #N Elkhan Huseynov released

Grievous Crimes Court considered the appeal of Colonel Elkhan Huseynov, commander of the military unit #N.

The Appeals Court presided over by Shahin Yusifov changed the preventive punishment action against the commander and released him.

Huseynov's advocate Eyvaz Mammedov told APA that the preventive punishment was groundless.

"It was decided that the investigation may be carried out without his arrest," he said.

He had been arrested in accusation under the article 125 (force to commit suicide). Baku Military Court sentenced him to 2 months in jail.
