The representatives of educational institutions in 23 regions, school directors and teachers participated in the conference.
SCSA chairwoman Meleyke Abbaszade released the negative and positive results of the examinations.
She stated that the applicants from the western part of the country are mostly interested in geography.
She noted that the indicator of the Ganja applicants in geography is higher than the middle indicator of the republic.
The highest score in this subject belongs to Mingechevir.

At the end of the conference the results of the first test exams were announced.
3364 students left school in Ganja in 2006. 2702 of them applied to the universities. 22, 97% or 614 of them entered the universities. 346 of them entered to the unpaid and the rest to the paid faculties. 27 applicants scored over 600. Most of the applicants entered the Ganja State University, Azerbaijan Agricultural Academy and Azerbaijan Technology University.
The scores of the applicants in Ganja is 9,3 % lower than the middle score of the republic, APA reports.
