Basketball Week to take place for disabled athletes

The first and group games will take place at the Azerbaijan Academy of Physical Culture and Sport while the final stage will be held at the Baku Olympic Sport Center. The tournament will bring together over 8 teams from Baku and Absheron settlements as well as Sumgait.

Such competitions are held across Europe in accordance with the recommendations of the Union of the European Basketball Federations and European Special Olympic Committee.

The competition is considered as the build-up to the international tournament to be held in May 2007 in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. AzerTAg
