Changes made to regulations of private high schools

15 November 2006 [13:50] - TODAY.AZ
Changes were made to the regulations of all private high schools in Azerbaijan.

Justice Ministry had already ratified the changes to the regulations. Presidential decree on the changes to Education law issued on June 14, 2004 made necessary to renew the regulation, Education Ministry told the APA.

Until made changes, the private high schools could admit the students to the universities with internal tests. But Presidential decree banned the internal admission. The private high schools did not change the regulations. That is why the minister Misir Mardanov told the rectors of universities to make changes to the regulations. After the changes, any high school can admit the students with internal tests.
