Tens of houses reconstructed in liberated villages of Fuzuli region became worthless

Tens of houses reconstructed in liberated villages of Fuzuli region which were built after arsons within the program of Rehabilitation and Reconstruction became worthless, the residents of the region told.

Some of houses are in risk and some resident have to reconstruct their houses on their own expenditures. Over ten houses built in Boyuk Behmenli village five years ago are also in danger, APA reports.

The residents said that there are 2 cm cracks on the walls. Some families intend to leave their houses, because State Agency on Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Territories did not consider their appeal.

Abid Feyzullayev, the chief engineer of State Agency on Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Territories told that analogical problems happen mostly with reconstruction works by foreign companies.

"GTZ, UNICEF, Red Crescent, International Rescue Committee and other organizations took part in the reconstructions. We had such kind of problem with GTZ, but it was eliminated," Feyzullayev said.

Feyzullayev also said that they need government’s decision for reconstructions.
