SVS denied mass death of birds

State Veterinary Service (SVS) at Agriculture Ministry (AM), SVS at Nakhchivan AM, the Regional Veterinary services and the representatives of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry held monitoring on the bank of the Araz for investigating the information about mass death of birds spread by mass media on October 19-25.

We need to monitor the territories though the migration of wild birds has not begun yet. The specialists and the representatives monitored the bank of the Araz, little ponds and they talked to people living in these regions, SVS press service told the APA. Neither mass, nor occasional death of birds was observed during the monitoring on the bank of the Araz.
