Some mass media reps not allowed to cover Haji Mammadov's trial

Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes today continued the trial of the gang led by Haji Mammadov, former high ranking official of the Interior Ministry Crime Investigation Department.

After the break prosecutor Beshir Jafarov announced the results of the analysis of the information about the trial published in the newspapers. He said that Olaylar and Azadlig newspapers violated presumption of innocence. The copies of the papers were presented to the judge. The Judge made a decision on not to allow these papers to cover the trial.
Then lawyer Adil Ismayilov asked questions to Haji Mammadov, Zakir Nesirov, Kamil Sadreddinov and Farhad Mammadbeyov. Defendant Husain Abdulvahabov also wanted to ask question to Haji Mammadov. The defendants argued. The judge ordered the journalists to leave the room.

The second part of the trial continues now, but the journalists still are not allowed to enter the building, APA reports.
