Experts' verdict on Ikram Khelilov's death announced

The experts' jverdict on the death of Ikram Khelilov, the chief of Ganja Police Office Traffic Police Department was announced to Ibrahim Rustemov, the lawyer for accuser Zabit Kazimov who was arrested on suspision of Khelilov's death.

The lawyer said the experts defined that Khelilov was killed by blunt tool and he had two blows on his head.

The lawyer objected to the expert's verdict and appealed to Ganja Prosecutor's Office to have repeated experts. Rustemov said that investigator Akif Shikhiyev conducted the investigation partially and the case was entrusted to Ibrahim Hesenov.

Chief of Ganja Police Office Traffic police department Ikram Khalilov was murdered at the night of September 21 to 22. The incident happened on the dispute with Ganja resident Zabit Kazimov. Khalilov stopped Kazimov for violating traffic regulation at about 23.30. They had a dispute and the driver fisted Khalilov on the head several times. He lost consciousness hitting his head to concrete surface. He died in hospital. The hospital's resuscitation department told the APA that he had cerebral trauma and was in coma for some hours.
The culprit-Zabit Kazimov has been detained at early hours on September 22. The police detained one more person-Parviz Mammadov who was on the scene. A criminal case was launched against him on the Criminal Code 126.1 article. If he is proved to be guilty he might be sentenced from three to eight years in prison.

Kazimov is the forth-year student of the Azerbaijan Technology University and also a professional sportsman, APA reports.
