Nushiravan Meherremli: "ANS is guilty for not granting license"

National Television and Radio Council (NTRC) did not prolong the license period of ANS TV, Lider TV, Aygun TV, Lenkeran TV and Europe+ and ANS CM radio stations, said Nushiravan Meherremli, the chief of National Television and Radio Council (NTRC).

He told the APA that ANS is guilty for not granting a license. "NTRC planned to consider ANS license on 30 September last year. But they began to announce that they will open a private radio station in Sheki on September1," he said.

Meherremli also stated that the required contract about the broadcasting of foreign radio stations was presented in English. "If they really were so patriotic, they would not sign the contract in English," he said.
