Ali Bayramli disaster aftermath eliminated

Personal staff and fire-extinguishers of Fire Preventing Services of Baku and Ali Bayramli, also 300 rescuers of Emergencies Ministry (EM) Civil Defense Troops, suction pumps, over 100 tents, blankets, inflatable rubber dinghies, and medical kits were sent to Ali Bayramli to eliminate the disaster aftermath by the order of Emergencies Minister Kemaleddin Heydarov.

EM Public Affairs Office told the APA that Azerbaijan Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sherifov, Emergencies Minister Kemaleddin Heydarov and Azerenergy OJSC chief Etiber Pirverdiyev, Azersu president Nazameddin Rzayev, Azerigas CJSC president Alikhan Melikov visited Ali Bayramli by the president’s order and gave some instructions.

Special commission was set up at EM to assess the damage. Energy, gas and water supply was restored since 18.00 yesterday, APA reports.

The cells of over 100 public buildings and over 300 private yards were flooded because of the heavy rain on October 10 which lasted for two hours and. Communication, roads and railroads were damaged. 50 meters of Baku-Astara railroad was flooded.
