Chairman of the Clerical Office of Caucasian Muslims meets with UK Parliament' delegation

Chairman of the Clerical Office of Caucasian Muslims sheikh ul-Islam Hajji Allahshukur met at his office October 10 with the members of the United Kingdom Parliament's Delegation to the Interparliamentary Union.

Sheikh ul-Islam updated the delegation on the religious life of Azerbaijan and told of the scientific-religious council's activities.

Representative of the Russian Orthodox Eparchy in Azerbaijan, father Mefodiy, head of Mountainous Jews Community Semyon Ikhiilov stressed that there is no other place in the world where representatives of three major confessions decide burning issues together. AzerTAg
