Lenkeran local authority head arrested for illegal lumber sale

Lenkeran region Kohnegegir village local authority head Mehman Novruzov and his brother were arrested by Masalli region police officers.

Masalli Police Department told the APA Southern bureau 5, 2-5, 5 cubic meters cut hornbeam, oak, iron and chestnut tree were found in Novruzov's cars. One of the cars has not registration number. The investigation proved that they have not documents for the cars and materials. In the preliminary hearing the local authority head said that he planned to sell the materials and repair the roads by the income.

Masalli Police Department investigated the fact.
