Nushirevan Meherremli: "ANS will not be granted a license unless it heeds warnings"

"The reason for delay of issuance of a license to ANS is that it was given a number of severe warnings," stated Nushirevan Meherremli, National Television and Radio Council (NTRC) chief.

He told the APA, ANS TV was given severe warnings in the last two meetings of the council for violating relevant laws. "We warned ANS about the irregularities in there activity. ANS will not be granted a license unless it heeds warnings. We call on all TV channels to observe law," he said.

ANS Group of Companies Public Affairs Department told the APA that the channel is interested in the cooperation with NTRC and respects law.
