Next monitoring on Bird flu to be held in Azerbaijan in mid-October

Next monitoring on Bird flu will be held in Azerbaijan in mid-October. It will be the fifth monitoring in Azerbaijan conducted after April, State Veterinary Service at the Agricultural Ministry told.

The monitoring conducted with the participation of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry, Health Ministry and Azerbaijan National Academy Zoology Institute representatives will cover the whole country, especially the areas where the migratory birds nest.

The fourth monitoring conducted in September did not prove Bird flu risk in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
