4th CIS Congress of Oncologists and Radiologists wraps up

The congress was initiated by the Azerbaijan National Oncology Center headed by academician of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Russia Academy of Medical Sciences Jamil Aliyev.

The congress, which gathered oncologists from the CIS courtiers and others was held under the aegis of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The congress participants discussed prophylaxis and treatment of the cancerous growth and other issues.

Forum organizers maintain that the Baku congress will become a landmark event in terms of development of oncology worldwide and contribute to cooperation between scientists.
