Zakir Garalov: "Georgian residents Tahir Khubanov and Teymuraz Aliyev wanted"

"Haji Mammadov and persons he mentioned in his testimonies have been interrogated," Prosecutor-General Zakir Garalov told journalists, APA reports.

He said Haji Mammadov was confronted with Farhad Aliyev, and they continue other investigative actions. "Investigating group will make some statements. Lawyers for Haji Mammadov and other men as well as deputies prosecutor-general will participate in all investigative actions," he said.

The Prosecutor General also talked about searching operations for GeorgiansTahir Khubanov and Teymuraz Aliyev, suspects of the murder of journalist Elmar Huseynov. "Both of them are proved to be involved in the crime. It was confirmed by international experts and recorded in investigation materials. We will make public them when necessary."

Mr.Garalov also commenting on Haji Mammadov's testimony on some unarrested members of his gang said the Prosecutor's Office had revealed the case before the national Security Ministry. "We appealed to the Interior Ministry and MNS several times, bur the investigations did not give results. Haji Mammadov's and his gang members' testimonies have been analyzed. Haji Mammadov is expected to make some other statements during the trial."
