FIEP delegation to visit Azerbaijan

The delegation from the Association of the European and Mediterranean Police Forces and Gendarmeries with Military Status (FIEP) is due to visit Azerbaijan in the first ten-day of September this year.

The FIEP delegation will familiarize with the implementation of Azerbaijan’s commitments for FIEP membership and draw up a report on this visit.

FIEP was established in 1994 at the initiative of French Gendarmerie. It has eight members, including Turkish Gendarme Forces. Italian Carabineers chair the Association now, APA reports.
