Baku resident raped and killed 68-year-old woman

30-year-old Binagadi resident Azad Gayibov raped and brutally killed 68-year-old woman. Binagadi Prosecutors' office confirmed the fact, APA reports.

Investigator Elshan Mammadov said drunk Gayibov Azad Isakhan came to his brother Ismet Gayibov who lives in Binagadi district at the night of August 20 to 21. Galina Kursakova, who was living in the neighborhood, was alone at home. Taking the chance Gayibov entered her apartment. After raping, he beat the woman and then choked her. The neighbors found him sleeping next to woman's body next day. Signs of torture were found on the woman's body.

Azad Gayibov was arrested. A criminal case on Criminal Code 120.1 article was launched against him. Elshan Mammadov will deal with the case.
