Azerbaijan State Railway Company was put on alert due to supposed terror danger.

The Company told the APA the security of railways stations in the republic has been strengthened, trains are being strictly checked on the borders, and passports are required since Thursday.

All the goods and things are being checked.

The alert aroused due to a large-scale terrorist act planned in Great Britain. London police arrested 21 terrorists, who were attempting to repeat the 11 September events occurred in the United States in Great Britain.

The Heydar Aliyev International Airport is also put on alert due to terror risk. The Azerbaijan Airlines State Company deputy general manager Sabir Ilyasov told the APA the airport is working as usual, Baku-London flights are held according to schedule.

"The procedures of checking passengers and freights by the recommendations of international organizations," Ilyasov said.
