No Azerbaijani among 5.956 foreign nationals evacuated to Turkish port from Lebanon

Some of foreign nationals fleeing Lebanon due to Israeli bombardments are taken to Marsin port in southern Turkey.

As APA reports, 5,956 foreign nationals have been taken to the port in ships and sent to their countries. Mr. Ozchelik said "USS Printon" ship took Americans, Australians, Canadians, Brazilians and Lebanese to the port yesterday.

The deputy press secretary said there were no Azerbaijanis among the evacuated adding 1,300 Turkish citizens have been taken to Marsin by "Isghenduran" ship.

Ozchelik also said 1,500 French citizens will be taken to Marsin port by "Michael" ship July 26 and four water buses will sail to Gazimagusa port in Northern Cyprus from Tashuchu port. He also said the evacuation of foreign nationals to Turkish port will be continued. He said foreign nationals are rendered medical care in Turkey and sent to their countries after that.
